Just a little about the family!

Tony's Outboard Motors has been a family owned and operated business
since 1989. We specialize in old outboard motors like Johnson/Evinrude
and Mercury motors. We added Chief's Bait Shop in 2005 as a tribute to
our son, Anthony, who we lost in 2003. The opening of the bait shop has
turned out to be a great success! In 2010 the local Wholesale bait
business was closing down and we made a ambitious move to take over
to continue to serve other small bait shops serve anglers in the area.
These three businesses are ran by Tony & Sandy Childers, sons,
Matthew, and Chad. We've added our personal touches and we cater to
our customers' needs.
We hope to have another great year in 2011!!!

Our Interests

Who We Are

We all love to fish! We love spending time with our children and
grandchildren. Backyard barbecues with all the kids playing in the
pool and on the swing set is what makes everything worth while!

Highlights

We are members of DAV Chapter 23. We sponsor and attend
the Westside Improvement Group, Inc. meetings for our
neighborhood community which are held every second Tuesday at
6PM. We are active members of the community. We have been
successful in gaining access to the West Beach area of our
beautiful lakeshore. This is to be complete in spring of 2011. We
love the fact of seeing our children and grandchildren enjoy the
lake and fishing like we have throughout the years.
